Irish Flooring Supplies (IFS) was established in 2024 by Jack O’Driscoll, an experienced flooring specialist, to provide high-quality flooring products to local businesses. The new entity became the go-to source for essential flooring supplies required by these businesses.
Over time, IFS grew to supply local installers and retailers, offering great value carpets, underlay, hardwood flooring, and accessories to the local market.
Located at Market St, Skibbereen, Co. Cork, IFS has expanded its customer base and opened a trade counter. Today, Irish Flooring Supplies is growing fast, driven by our commitment to quality and service.
In 2024, IFS proudly joined the Independent Flooring Group, which has enabled us to provide the excellent Floor Gear products at great value costs. Our range of services includes an ever-growing selection of quality flooring products, tools, and accessories, with our own Floorgear range now playing a leading role.
We aim to encourage and support the next generation of installers with practical support, great service, and value for money.

Jack O’Driscoll | Director
After qualifying as a chartered accountant in 2020, Jack returned to his family’s flooring and furniture retail business in Skibbereen, West Cork. With a strong interest in the flooring industry, he sought new purchasing opportunities post-COVID, particularly as costs continued to rise. This quest led him to the Independent Flooring Group at Harrogate in 2023, and he decided to join the group in early 2024. His primary goal was to help small independent retailers throughout Ireland regain their profit margins.
In light of significant wholesaler consolidations, Jack recognized the need for alternative suppliers for retail shops in Ireland. This approach allowed retailers to access certain products and reclaim some of their margins that larger wholesalers had eroded. The group is committed to supplying products promptly and competitively to retailers across the country. With extensive in-house expertise, Irish Flooring Supplies aims to provide comprehensive solutions to all flooring-related issues at highly competitive prices.
Jack is particularly focused on environmentally friendly products that deliver excellent performance at fair prices. The group in the UK collaborates with all major suppliers and secures competitive buying rates, which are then passed on to their customers.
